This rubber evokes memories from speed glue times! COPPA X3 mega-loud sound and easily controlled speed will provide great pleasure. This rubber offers perfect control and is suitable for an active topspin game from all positions. DONIC Coppa X3 is very easy to play with. Allround players will also find an improvement in their game. Sponge hardness: soft Playing characteristics: Very soft with superb control and a unique sound.Recommended for: Allround players who require good control plus speed.

I have been using this rubber for a year in 2.0 mm black version on backhand, paired with Donic Epox Powerallround blade. I bought it for 30 euros. This rubber has an average speed (it is not slow but not enough fast for me), a low throw angle, gives a significant amount of spin (more than its pair, the Donic Coppa X2), has a low throw angle and a very soft sponge and topsheet, all these together give a very strange combination of characteristics. By my opinion, this rubber is not good for smashing. Due to a slightly mushy feeling and long dwell time, the ball contact is sometimes too long and causes a misfeeling which causes a mistake when hitting and looping. The topspin strokes on the table are executable, but away from the table are very difficult, because of the low throw angle. On the other side, the backspin and flick strokes are very comfortable and controlled with this rubber, especially the flicks can make problems to the opponents. The blocks are low and fast, uncomfortable for the opponents, but need adjustment, otherwise they will go into the net. Serves are also good with this rubber, but need higher throw-out from hand, because of the soft sponge and topsheet. Generally, this is an interesting rubber with some good and bad characteristics, but it depends on the players playing style, whether it will be good and suitable for someone or not.

2013-06-26: Just bought this rubber. Was intendent to use on backhand. But couldent resist to try it out with forehand also. Not a good fh rubber since its hard to loop with. If you hit the loop it's very much spin though. But the ball has low throw. Tried it with my backhand mostly though since its my purpose to use it with backhand. It's a good bh rubber. Good to block with and good to hit hard with away from the table. Works well to flip with also. Am happy with it so far as a backhand rubber.2013-08-27 (update): it has a very low throw as people are saying! That was pretty much why I bought it. The ball sometimes goes in the net because of that. But I guess you get used to it after a while. Coppa x3 also works very well for me to loop with backhand.

I got this in red courtesy of Mr. Bill Yap of Hua Ching club of Cebu (thank you, Bill!) Had this glued on my 729 Bomb. On the other side is a 729 RITC rubber. My first impression is that the throw is low and it fits my forehand stroke well. Very controllable rubber even with hard strokes. I can consistently place the ball in the table. Even those balls that fall below the table level I can return them with ease. Blocking is also a breeze but I think I should get the 2.0 for the backhand. The downside I think is using this for service. It does not generate the kind of spin I can get from the RITC. I'd be interested to see how it performs with carbon blades, though, I have a feeling that the pairing with the cork-powered Bomb is about right.Again, thank you to Bill Yap for my Donic Coppa X3 and also my gratitude goes to his cousin, Handel Yap who took time to fine tune my forehand and help me get used to this great rubber.Carlo Gabriel Simbajon

Plays well on fore-hand or back-hand on faster and harder blades, and does everything well... very good for the close to the table game, good on serves, used it as back-hand rubber, tried on Galaxy N-9, T-8, T-11, and Stiga Tube Carbo. If someone likes soft rubbers X-3 is a good one to try. I found all DONIC rubber very easy adopt to and to play with.

What a rubber! I think Desto F3 Bigslam has the softest topsheet of all donic rubbers, but the topsheet of this rubber is as soft or even softer. I like it as much as I like Acuda S3. Although this rubber is not a spin-oriented rubber like Acuda, but it has decent spin.

Very good rubber for control with attack capability. Fast and spiny when struck hard. Good control for soft touches over-table. Not very sensitive to opponents spin and blocks well. Can use for both BH and FH. Service may not be as spiny as Acuda but adequate.

I use both on bh and fh (Schlager Carbon), and it is very hard to get decent spin from it! Spin on serves is very weak, but on loops is quite good. After all, it is better use this rubber with softer blades, like BTY SK7.

I replaced Tenergy 05-FX with this as I was looking for something similar but not as pricy. I have not looked back as I feel this is at least as good as 05-FX if not better due to the higher speed and better control. If you are also looking for an alternative to the Tenergy's, look no further. After spending more time with the rubber, I find it harder to generate spin with than other rubbers I've used including T05-FX. I went back to FX just to see after 3 months and I find that FX suits my strokes better. As much as I wanted to like the X3 better, I ended up sticking with the FX.

I replaced tenergy 05 with CoppaX3 on my forehand on BTY Timo Boll ALC. Way more control, sound, and my racket weighs half of the weigth before. Surprisingly high spin... For anyone who doesn`t feel speed confident with tenergies.
